hey, i heard this is possible, so heres my question, my friend has a 93 prelude h23 a/t, he's seeking to get VTEC for his car, what is needed for this conversion? i know that you need a h22 head and a vtec controller (can anyone recommend any good vtec controllers). thanks in advance

my main question was, if i could use the motor harness of a obd-1 on a obd-2 car for the swap, and if i could, what, if any, mods do i have to do? motor harness not ecu harness

shit, well i know i was supposed to research this up before i post, but uhhh i just read a topic about irhavok wanting to do i guess a obd-i into a ek, and projekteg said are you talking about the plugs on the egine wiring harness? if so, they're all the same style plug except for the injectors...

if you really want to invest into the intake manifold and not planning to spend a whole lot, you can invest in some type r cams, valves, and valve springs. cams=$300-$500? valves=$200ish valve springs=$200ish. after you've applied that with some headers, it'll be a good engine flow.
