    I know it sounds completly stupid. I'm trying to somehow pass my emmisions test with what I have available to me. Now I have obd2 - obd 1 harness. I need to change injectors and ecu. Will 97 civic Hx stuff work at all?

    I bought some OBX lightweight pulleys, It came with I think 1 for the alternator and 1 for A/C. Has anyone ever installed pulleys in their car? What is the easiest way to do it?

    Shifting after 7000RPM

    That's the joy of vtec, being able to shift from 3-4 or 4-5 and still be in vtec after your shift. That dealers trying to work ya for his mortgage. That gsr's slower than a ls if you have to drop a grand before shifting, wack.

    I've decided I want to put an LS motor in my 97 civic. What year LS blocks can I use and be able to do a LS/Vtec in the future? I want to get just the block and do the internals on that first, so how far back in the integra family of LS engines can I go? What years are compatible?

    v-tec vs port and polish

    Port will allow more flow, polishing wont make it look cool because it's all internal to polish the informities out, which also helps flow. It's not for show. I'd go with the v-tec head for more tuning capability.
