LS vtec for $800? that would be nice. Id boost it a 6-7 psi. Thas pretty much the standard for a relatively stock honda motor. Keep the LS tranny, ive always heard longer gears are better for boost, and it makes sense since your boosting for longer, and not shiffting as much. good luck

Dont use a test pipe, you'll have emission issues, its gonna sound shittier,(raspy) and the honda cat is actually very efficeint, creating only a 1-3 pounds of backpressure.

yea, he said it sat closer to the ground. From what he told he, if he were to do it agian, he would rather go GSR or B20vtec. cheaper, easier to work on, more parts available.

He was using hondata Kpro, not sure why he always had to get his ECU reflashed, but I doubt its really common. I just remember his complaining about it all the time.

I agree, The b18A/B is cheap, reliable and has plenty of torque. Plus you can boost further down the road and have a fast car for very little money.
