i turns out that my starter was bad :slap: now my car runs but real bad starting to piss me off

also my ecu(p28) has not came yet so i'm using a p06(d15b7) and a p07(d15z1) to try and get my car to crank up does the ecu cause it not to crank i thought it would crank just not vtec

thanks for the replies i meant to say 2 map sensors but i think i got that figured out all of the lights and everything work the car was not throwing a cel so i left the key on for a while so i could get one and when i went under the hood to bump the starter i noticed i was hearing a blowing...

can anyone help :worthy: i looked in a helms manual today and i saw where all the motors had a map sensor except d15b7 so am i supposed to have 2 oxygen sensors 1 on the firewall of the car 2 on the throttle body thanks

So then i should have the same horsepower as a d16z6 and everything should match up.

i saw on the net that a 92-95 zc is a d16a6 non vtec but my motor has a vtec soleinoid on it is this right

i just got a motor a d16z6 sohc but on the block it says zc i know it has to be obd1 because the diizzy plugs match up but does the jdm motors say zc or is it supposed to say d16z6. And on the ecu on the bar code is there anyway u can tell if it an auto or 5 speed ecu Thanks

i've turned with a ratchet and i know its not locked i was asking what could cause all that stuff so i could tell if that motor was a total waste but..... if it could be fixed i know a guy selling a shell and i could drop the d15z1 in it but........ if it is a waste at least i could get...

when i put this motor in the car it would not crank all the way up it just turns over really slow i checked all my grounds, starter, alternater, dizzy, and battery. also when i took the motor back out all the oil was in the oil pan the filter was dry does any one know what this could be?

May sound silly but if i use a p07 ecu which is vtec on a d16z6 which i know needs a p28 ecu in a obd 1 93 civic coupe can i mess anything up using the p07 until i get the p28 sorry new to this
