id say the B16 too, its pretty cheap and it you wanted to, put the CTR internals into it and you have a realiable car and since its a track car and im assuming its gonna be pretty light so you dont need tons of power. oh yeah and get rota circuit 8's cause they look sick!!

I talked to one guy who had an LS engine in a 93 hatch that pretty well stripped but he only had i/h/e a CTR trans and i think a skunk 2 manifold (not too sure about that one but i know it was aftermarket) he was running 14.5 on street tires. So i would definately get a CTR trans like one person...
