    F/S: 1992 Honda Prelude w/ JDM H22A1

Hi Everyone, I'm selling a 1992 Honda Prelude Si, Black, with lots of mechanical work that was done on it. It carries the JDM H22A1 VTEC, a stainless steel exhaust from headers all the way back, a Walbro fuel pump with less then 100 miles on it, a Stage 3 6 pluck clutch/pressure...

    Transmission problems, very weird

Thank you for the responses. I'll take a look at the cables, I know the bracket is bolted down but I haven't checked the adjustment on them. After that, I'll take another look at the clutch. I don't know why that would be, seeing as the clutch works fine for 5th and reverse, short of not...

    Transmission problems, very weird

I just got done putting an H22 in my 4th gen prelude, and I'm having a weird tranny-related problem. When I first tried to drive the car, the car moved, but disengaged from first gear. It just rolled to a stop. Now, here's the things I gathered to try and figure this thing out, but I'm just...

    h22 swap question

Do you know off hand if anyone has driven a manual h22 on a p13 set up for an automatic? All I have access to is the automatic P13 ecu, and I have a manual car. I didn't know if the park/neutral switches present on automatics would end up not letting me start the car and what not. If all it...

    Question about P13

alright, then let me ask this.... If I were to use this ecu temporarily till I can get my hands on a manual p13 ecu, would anything be affected? I don't care if all I get is a code and that's it. But if it will affect the engine, I'll have to reconsider.

    Question about P13

Hey I have a question about the chips sold on eBay, claiming to be made by Spoon and other reputable companies. A lot of them explain a switchover for VTEC at 5500rpm, with a redline of 9200rpm. Now I'm no expert, but is that safe on stock internals to have a redline of 9200? Thing is, I'm...

F/S: H23 block, two cylinder heads, two intakes

Alright, I'm doing a H22 VTEC swap in my 92 Prelude, because I threw a rod bearing in the H23 engine. I haven't had this engine apart to confirm that, but I believe by the noises I'm getting and past experience with the same problem, I'm atleast in the right arena. Anyway, here's this list...

    h22 swap question

I just looked it up using autozone.com, and I found that the balancer shaft belt is the same, but the timing belt is different (which makes sense to me). Sorry about that, I forget that I can do part number matches on sites like that :-P

    h22 swap question

another dumb question, What about the timing belts between the h22 and h23? same or different? I have a new one in the box for the h23, and if I can use it on the h22, I will, otherwise I gotta get one. Anyone know?

    h22 swap question

Thanks guys. I figured you could, with the near-identical things with both the h22 and h23. I don't believe I'd drive it very far, I just want to make sure it runs until I get the JDM ECU to put in. Thanks for the replies though.

    h22 swap question

I have a question concerning a swap I'm performing. I've run out of money, for the time being, swapping an H22 into my 92 Prelude. The original engine was an H23. Can, in theory, I atleast start and run the car using the stock P14 ecu, and the only thing be that I don't have VTEC? I don't...

    Wrecked Prelude

Do you still have the engine for sale? and is the ECU still available? Would you sell the engine separate, w/o the tranny, and if so, how much?
