It is for sure a dohc 1.6 liter. It is very similar to the dohc zc.
The 1.8 came in the 90 and up tegs as a b18a1 90-93 b18b in 94 and up
[I have had these problems before, and when I unplugged the o2's it ran fine, I would just get a CEL when I de-accel for a very long time. When that happened I just kicked the key off and back on real quick and never had any problems.
Do you have a check engine light?
as far as vacuum goes, map runs off the TB nipple, or directly on top if it obd-1, the rest just hook to vac.
I leave the purge and all that crap off, just map sensor, and vac to the fpr.

You did put the rear mount on the rear x member correct?
yes you can use the resistor pack if you use obd-0 injectors, if you use obd-1 injectors instead, you wire on a ground cap that connects them all together, which your zc should have.
The ecu does not care which injectors you use so:
obd-0 inj = resistor pack
obd-1 inj = no resistor pack
