I'm pretty sure the "sensors" in the 91 crx are not located in the buckles, but in the seats themselves. They are "pressure switches". You should find one connector on each side (the one you had to unplug to get the stock seats out). If you want to be ghetto about it, cut off the connectors...

Sounds like either your timing is WAY off, you aren't firing on one cylinder, or your converter is plugged. The IACV being non functional will make it idle funny, but thats all that will do. And no, its not supposed to sound like crap. what the hell kinda question is that?

Disconnect the battery, then: 1. Unplug/unbolt the wiring. 2. Yank the two bolts. 3. Pull out starter. 4. Reverse opperation for install Just like just about every other starter on the planet.
