The transmission will depend upon the year but obd1 isn't cable to my knowledge.
Obd0 - Integra XSi, CRX SiR, etc. - cable transmissions
Obd1 - Del Sols, etc. - hydro
I believe '93 and on would have been hydraulically actuated..
EFB1 CRX for non hydro tranny, EFB2 for the one with the...
Tad bit heavier than a hatch :P but then again, it's gotta be a blast. If I didn't have such a h/o for a CRX with a gsr in it I'd talk with you.
Bumped.
It turns out the car needs a vehicle speed sensor too + the wiring, so I'd have to source a sensor (~$120), install and wire it for the speedo to work. Its got two 10"s in a box in the cargo area, but he only put it in one large box so all storage is effectively zapped.
On top of all that I'd...
What would the average Honda-Swap user be willing to pay for a swapped rio red CRX Si with relatively low miles on a motor from hmotors with hasport mounts, linkage, etc.?
Take into account its getting towards needing a paint job, and has a small amount of body damage (good dent right behind...
The body isn't in horrible shape, the passenger fender is FUBAR, there's a 3-4" long, 1cm deep dent in the passenger fender from god knows what. I think that can be pulled without too much fuss and smoothed out. No rust around the rear passenger wheel well, and only a quarter or so of bubbling...
Yeah, I've read a good bit about the different D/SOHC engines that would be swappable, and the B18C1 seemed like a nice choice for hp, although boost wise may not be the greatest option with compression considered.
$3,000 for a GSR swap sounds like a hard buy though. Been looking at hmotors...
If at all possible, it would be extremely hard to pull off. You'd need custom motor mounts fabricated at the minimum; not to mention transmission matching issues.
Celica being a Toyota and CRX being a Honda mean you don't get to play together. Not like that anyway.
So I've got a '91 rex that isn't in the best of shape. She's got a screwy fender from a meet and greet with a furry friend, an ugly dent in the rear from some scumbag in an SUV, and could definitely use repaint.
The tranny isn't in bad shape, although it does occasionally grind gears and...
