    ZC from 87 to 91 civic hatch

    Well my swap is DONE. The 87 D16A1 (same as ZC1 what i have) fits just right. Needed to modifiy: 1) 89 gearbox needed 2 holes trilled 2) A driver side mount needed to be made I used 90 ZC intake (fit just right) and 90 dizzy Engine cost me 300$ and rebuild + new parts 200$ total about 500$

    OK :mrgreen: .....My D14 exhaust fits the ZC just fine to bad its 4-1 Thx anyway......im not far from starting the engine up:D

    OBD0 ecu LED´s

    OK im new to the ECU...had a 1,4GL carbed but now have a ZC with Si ecu and wires ....Looking at the ecu found a spot thats marked for a led but has non.....what led is it? what does it show .....POWER ON? :dry:

    Hmm i have a D16A6 manifold....so you saing that it workes fine? But arent the intake tubes smaller then the heads? Im planing on swaping all the parts from A6 (EACV and fast idle valv) to my ZC1 A1 intake. Just caz all my wires are for a SI Damn have to take a look at the A6 intake.....was i...

    But it should be DOHC. Caz i have a A6 SOHC manifold and it does not fit at all :mrgreen:

    My question is what other intakes are there that will fit the DOHC ZC engine? Will the ZC1 fit ZC(88-91)?....heard that someone said a B series intake would worke with a ZC? Any ideas? :)

    Im working on puting the 1 gen ZC in my 4gen hatch. The driverside mount is almost ready and just have the wireing to do(not going to use the vac. adv. timing).......its not that hard if you know what you doing Only problem at the moment is the hood....engine is too long
