Hello all. My 91 civic si has a coil over suspension and i hear a groan in the front end when i turn the wheel, i'm not sure if its coming from the strut bearings or the steering rack, it doesn't have power steering. I picked this car up last year at an auction and i'm not sure how old the...

So that WHOOOSH is normal then? Isn't the tank vented? on my dodge caravan the tank is vented to avoid excess pressure in the tank and when i remove the cap theres no vapour release. This car is fairly new to me and i'm still familiarizing myself with it. Thanks for the info. Vic.

    91 civic si

Hey all, i'm just wandering how the back seat comes out on a 91 civic hatch? I've tried pulling on it but the front clamps don't seem to want to let go. Is there and easy way to remove it without destroying it in the process. The reason why i'm asking is because i think the vent tube from the...

    Slight knocking, tapping at idle

My 91 civic has 150,000 miles on her and when it idles you can hear a slight tapping, doesn't sound like valve noise and the engine runs fantastic, doesn't burn oil and has plenty of pull, it disappears when you rev the engine. I was told it might be noisy injectors? It seems to disappear for a...

It was the wheel bearing, the old one is pretty chewed up. Do i need a press to put the new one in? or is it a complete hub assembly? The FAQ's are awsome on this site. Thanks to all. :worthy: Vic.
