thanks to much help from this forum ive finally gotten my d15b vtec working in my 89 crx dx.... so far i havent hooked up to the vtec since i bought a cheapo controller on ebay.. anyways... i am comparing this to a 90 dx i also have... the d15b vtec motor seems to have a little more torque...

I am oh so close to having my rex running... i have a pm6 ecu.. d15b vtec motor tps was dead... and i noticed that the stock tps wouldnt work at all.. forget wiring it backwards, it would have locked the throttle in place.... soo.. new tps.... but how do i wire it up?? what stock wire color...

i used the stock d15b vtec mount and the drivers mount simply tilts back a hair...

i think the map is working fine because if i disconnect it the engine dies...that and i have the stock map on the firewall as well as a new map which came on the throttle body of the new engine... i just want to be sure my tps isnt working before i buy a used part which may or may not be any...

Yes, i put a d15b vtec motor into a 1989 honda crx dx which didnt have vtec, i have a 1989 crx si computer for the mpfi swap which doesnt control vtec either.. I know i can run the car without it, but i figured a controller would be a better idea than putting a switch on it thanks
