if there where new pistons in it... the rings might not have be set right which would cause that problem. but do what the other guys said. give it a basic rebuild... and bring it to the machine shop
i have stock injectors ...with a stupid fucken fuel rail(junk) and the ecu came from JUN racing. but i'm thinken my problem is there in the ecu with the settings... cuz i even retarded the shit out of my timing to see what i get.. and its not enough.. Just another ride on the baloney poney.
i just built a 94 Gsr.. 1 of the things i did was a 74 tappered to 69mm throttle body with an intake... i also got a jun racing ecu... the mutherfucker is running so rich.. i lowered the tps to the lowest voltage, and adjusted my fuel to 15psi at idle. it made a little difference but my air...
if i was you i would get better valves and cams if you went that far already. Even then maybe some valve springs if your wallet can take it. Make sure you adjust your valves accordenly. Plus with the higher compression on a new motor your gonna need to break it in with 104 octane, and run it...
i've got the complete botton end of a b16a .. i have it in pieces and got it honed. Pistons and crank are in great condition engine bearing had no abnormal wear. it will come with the pr3 cams and i also have an extra oil and water pump from a gsr.. if anyone is interested .. i want 300
i need to know if the civic EX vtec iacv is interchangeable with a gsr iacv. it looks like the are...but i need some more info ... hopefully one of you guys got this...
i bought a new proformance oil pump... i think they sent me an obd2 pump because the the timing belt cover dose fit correctly.. would this make a difference if i kept it, and just got a different timing cover... or do i have get the exact same one
