    black amoke means that you are running rich. blue smoke means oil and it wouldn't be from your valve seals if it occurs at high rpms.

    you can keep the engine stock and run a good 12psi daily. you just need a great tuner. and their are plenty. a ls/vtec would also be a fun car but the turbo would be very nice, and if you stay out of boost then you will have great gas milage

    I gapped the plugs to .035"(might go to .032") and advanced the timing almost back to stock. no pinging at all. the plugs looked very clean even tho the engine is running rich. hopefully in two weeks i can set everything up.

    or you could just use the right prelude ecy for your chassis and wire it to the euro engine. they both have the crank angle sensor at the crank pully and you can pick up a adapter the allows you to use the stock 2 wire idle control valve

    get the newer h22 and then buy a chipped p28 or p72 and a obd1 jumper harness.

    in order to get the most out of the pro'2 you'll need atleast 12:5.1 compression with the lower compression you might make more low and midrange power with the pro one'2. here is that link newenglandhondarebuilders.com their not that expencive but its definatly worth it if you put together...

    I just gapped the plugs to .035 and added some more timing back to the engine. the plugs looked very clean even tho it running very rich. 11:5.1 at wot. good news, the timing is almost back to normal and not one ping so its ready to go and get a dyno tune. i love 2.3 liters

    i fixed my problem the fuel pressure reg made a big difference now i am running rich and the vacume hose is connected its at 13.9 at idle and 12.8 at part throttle and 11.5-12 full throttle. i had it tuned with the wrong fuel pressure reg. this changes things. we thought the injectors were...

    i went to the dyno on 2/23 and i am back from the dyno. we spent most of the time their problem solving. with the changes i made the car started pinging very hard on the dyno i took out the plugs and the tips were red hot and very clean the engine needs ALOT more fuel. the danm thing pinged...

    got new cams today

    13.5:1 on 121+ octane with 175hp shop of spray what kind of pistons and rods and are they coated because eventually it will go kaboom unless you tear it down and rebuilded it frequently. good luck. and those cams might need 14:5.1 + compression to bring out their full potential
