i just bought a vtec engine and it comes with a tranny. im wondering if this tranny will work on my 89 dx hatch..? are all the 92-95 series trannies hydro? did these engines come with any jdm cable trannies? how can i find out if this tranny is hydro?

im curious to find out if a sohc zc swap would require any mods (rewiring etc) in my 89 dx hatch? can i use my stock ecu and stock harness?

i wanna do a swap on my 89 dx hatch. the motor i plan on buying is a 92-95 d15b vtech with everything including the tranny, ecu and wiring harness.. will this engine fit into my hatch without any modifications? do i need to do any rewiring? do i need to a dpfi to mpfi conversion to get this...

Sup, I just bought a 89 Civic HB and I want to do some work on it including doing an engine swap. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which engines I should swap in my civic? I've been researching the B16a1, and I basically am looking for something that has more power than the D15B2...
