yes i took the distributor off so we tried flipping it 180 just in case but it didnt help

Done it 3 times on DOHC engines and 2 times on SOHC and Never had a timing problem

the timing is on correctly (or at least how it was before) we never took the belt off we zip tied the belt to the cam gears and pulled them up toward the roof witha rope so there was no way the botom could have slipped

Got a question for all of you... Just got done doinga head gasket on my h22a found out the knock sensor was broken but it ran fine before now it won't run.. anyone know if that would make it not run or should i be looking somewere else for a problem.. Thanks for any help

I swapped a H22a into my 1995 Accord Ex. and have had nothing but problems When i start my car the engine pulses from 700-1200 Rpm's when it warms up it stops doing it until you give a little gas then it does it again.. Any ideas what could be the problem Could it be timing?

Thanks guys but i just replaced the stock fuel pump witha performance one and i put my b&m regulator on. But my A/f Gauge still reads lean i gonna try a different gauge and see what happens

I just got done doing a H22A swpa into my 1995 Accord The engine runs good but after it warms up and i give it a little gas and let off it drops down to 350-500 RPM's and almost chokes out. Any idea what would cause this??

Does anyone know if you can tell if an engine came from japan by the engine code.. For Example H22a instead of H22a1 which is on most domestic engines ...b16a instead of b16a1

you dont really have to retard the timing if your only running 75 shot What year is your car is the computer OBD1 or OBD2 if it is OBD1 run 100 but buy the module that kicks you timming back when you fire the NOS and goes back to normal when you are not using it. That way your car runs good...
