well i got the d15b in but no start??? it will crank but it will not start. any advice?? i am going to check spark and fuel tomorrow b/c its too late now lol. can anyone tell me the firing order on the d15b?? thanks in advance.

hey hollywood go to Homemadeturbo.com and start readin in the noob section man. i have a jdm d15b vtec, i built a homemade turbo setup for 550 then it cost me 100 for the tuned ecu. so about 650 and it may be cheaper for you but i didnt buy anything that was considered "crap".

yea thats why mine worked so good for me lol i wasnt anywhere near the 325. as far as fuel pump a walbro should do just fine it did for me.:nod:

97delsols i wont be an ass b/c this is your first swap but search man. that swap has been done a thousand times over. there is very man great write-ups that will tell you step by step, part by part how to do the swap.

they also carry an h-d series adaptor plate. (dont know why you would wanna use a d tranny on an h) but hey they make it lol.

most people use dsm 450's thats what i used on my 00 si with a b16a2, t3 turbo, crower forged internals, i dyno'd at 263 whp. that was enough power for me haha. but dsm 450's is what i would recommend just from personal experience and the fact that theyre cheap as hell.

ahh yea my bad i just read your WHOLE post lol but you got a free bump. yea if the heads obd-1 then you wont need the jumper harness.

is it a jdm d15b with vtec?? if so you will need harness and a jdm p08 ecu, you can use a usdm p28 ecu but its not the same as the p08. the motor seems to run a little better with the p08.

you can get low 13's out of a d16 with built bottom end, homemade turbo setup, and a nice tune. you dont need a b18 for that (if you know what your doin :cool: )

wrong ecu. p28 is a d16 vtec ecu. you need a p72 i believe.

yea i would second that to getting a aem v2. its not that your gettin more air at all. its the same volume of the filter so your gettin the same amount only difference is when you put it directly on the throttle body your pulling all of the hot air from then engine bay.

the motor will bolt in but that y7 is an obd-2a motor. so you will have to get a jumper harness to convert yours from obd-1 to obd-2a. and from there everything else will bolt up to that harness. youll have to get the obd-2a ecu. im not quite sure on what exact ecu it is but i just gave you a...

unless you got some money man you dont want the k-swap. i would opt for a d16 turbo buildup or a b16 or gsr b18 something like that. the k-swap is gonna cost a lot of money. just my .02 cents though.

no you will not see a 30 h.p. gain just by swapping d15 heads, now if you was going with a mini me setup you would probably see about 20-30 with bolt ons.

check the spark plugs too. it could be saturating them at a load of low rpms. but could not be saturating them at idle or high rpms.
