yea clutch's suck to install, but that's what happened on my old motor and trans....clutch failure, your gonna need a new one, check the resvoir first, it is the small one on the firewall drivers side check the level and if it is good you need a clutch.

Yea B20 V-tec is an awesome swap. Some people try to go to low budget. If you do it right it will produce some major power gains.

To answer your question, You can put any motor in they make all kinds of adapter kits. The most common for any prelude is H22A swap or H23A swap or even the H23 V-tec. A B-series will go in as well, Such as a B18C, C1, C5 you get the drift. You can also hybrid and go LS V-tec or B20 V-tec.

Ok no don't listen to this guy, Prelude V-tec engines were not in the third gen preludes....ever. They came in the fouth gen 92-96, you can get an obd 1 or 2 H22A or A1. the H22A is J-spec. The single cam F22a came in the base S model, The H23A or A1 or A3 dohc non v-tec came in Si and Se trim...

yes it will mount, but you will need mounts, check Hasport Billet Mounts for more info on it. Also pretty much anything B-Series will bolt together but do your reasearch and see exactly what you want to do. Low budget isn't always the way to go.

So I did my H22 swap and used my h23 distrubuter and coil on the h22, I have no tachometer, runs and idles great but no tach.... any ideas of what to do.

I found out my buddy that was putting in the battery ground out the power while tightening it....I replaced those sensers so that only means the wiring or the ......ecu.

I just swapped my H22A into my lude, I can hit V-tec for a little bit and then it cuts out and my oil light will flash at low rpm's and come on and off while at idle. It also sounds a little awkward.
