well the power to the head unit is spliced into the ignition wire but when the key turns off the power to that cuts off. shoudl i splice it into the acsessories power wire?

i am the third owner of this stock crx and i had a headunit put in by circuit city and then that night i drove it home and when i got there it wouldnt shut off. I went back to circuit city then next day had them take everything out that they did and it still wouldnt shut off.
