code 6 on a 91 ls swapped crx

Your original engine should have had 2 sensors on the back of the block (by the oil filter). The larger one with 2 wires is the temp sensor/fan switch. Your OBD0 LS has the switch in the t-stat housing instead. Extend the 2 wires on your original harness and add a plug to connect to the new...

Use D series shift linkage on B series

I say there's no single answer because different mounts will position the engine/trans differently. Mine are HaSport. My firend has the same car, same swap, but his has AZRace mounts and his engine is further back in the bay. Idk what kind of linkage he has, but I bet mine wouldn't interchange...

Use D series shift linkage on B series

I searched alot for this same question before i shortened my linkage (bseries in '90 civic wagon). The conclusion I reached is that there's no one answer.Mine ended up being 3 3/8" shorter. I just mounted the b linkage at the shifter and centered it (neutral), then measured at the trans. how...

After checking out some bays I admire, I did a little carving little by little 'til I could fit it in also relocated the head/vc ground and a big long single flash in OBD1ese is NOT a one, it's a ten! Now, a wagonist who had NOT been enjoying a Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale...

I haven't heard of interference issues there either. Did Hasport make more than one version of B into 4thgen mounts? I bought these used...

All the swap articles mention denting the 'frame' rail for alternator clearance, but nobody mentioned this: I've been wondering ever since I set the engine in the car about clearance here, and sure enough, the hood was hard to latch and stuck up a bit. Just barely hit the corner: Pics of...

It's definitely worth doing, and a pretty easy swap if it's non-OBD, especially since you have the complete car for parts. If your '90 hatch is an Si (already mpfi) it's even easier. As far as seats, I'll be putting the teg seats in my wagon shortly. Electric ones shouldn't be too much harder.

Yeah, thanks. That's the very same write-up I followed to clean iacv and tighten fitv. Also, the ground made no difference. I installed the ground wire, cleared the codes, and they came right back- same idle, too. I'm gonna have to dig into the harness with a multimeter...ugh!

well, since you asked... I have a code 1 (O2 sensor) and 14(IACV) The o2 codes as soon as the key is turned on, the iacv after it runs. Also has rough idle. I've tried: -purged the cooling system(in case of air bubbles fooling the iacv/sensor) -cleaned the iacv -tightened the ring in the fitv...

It's a YS1 from a '92, not sure of ratio. I'm battling some CEL issues at present, looking forward to a test drive once I get that untangled!

Do you see what I see? Wagon exhaust on bottom, Integra on top: I'm sure this has been done before, right? I was checking out the exhaust from the integra to see if I could piece something together- looks like it'll almost fit! The teg was welded straight, didn't have a flange from the A...

thrashing about wildly... Had a family reunion today, couldn't get started on the car 'til late afternoon. Took the shifter off the teg, shortened the linkages, swapped over all my new bushings and boots from the OE shifter. 3 3/8 " shorter with the Hasport mounts. Even used the teg stick...

Got her fired up today:) what a mess! got a couple of codes: O2 sensor and IACV, but I cranked it with an open downpipe and no coolant, so I'm not too concerned yet. Merry Christmas.
