dude your going to spend 5000 CAD or 3000 USD for a 1.6 litre engine??? when you can get a GSR for approx the same price...think about it dude.... you'll be ripping ass cracks with a 1.8 DOHC VteC

sorry i forgot to add.... get a nice tranny...i suggest if you are going all motor...get the b16 or GSR tranny....with close gear ratios...i went with the gsr tranny....it makes a huge difference.... clutch...go with a basic type r clutch with pressure plate and flywheel..and you RPM will be...

hey wasup dude, i just did a B18B swap into my 95 EG hatch...its a huge difference...its all raw torque...its hype dude...especially the motor is cheap to start of with...from the gsr...i was thinkin of doing before...but i didnt want to drop 5000 CAD for it when i spent only 2000 CAD for m...

dude the b18b i think has the most potential.....you drop a vtec head on their.....you'll be killing type r's and more... there is no point swapping to a type r when you are only gaining just a bit...from an ls/vtec you'll have more pull and more horsepower.....you will be able to probably come...

but the apexi v-afc is hype cause is digital..... bring a aggressive look into your car.... i say get both...hahah if you money...

basically the vtec controller lets you control when you want your engine to engage vtec... the i-vtec is basically, once you push you foot to the pedal, the i-vtec kicks in... you cannot control the i-vtec because that's the way it suppose to work..... i hope that small explanation will...

just remember that the RSX type-s isnt that much heavier than your 7th gen civic... stock type s runs on a quater mile around 15.7-15.8 so dropping the motor in your 7th gen will probably give you at most 15.0 and might break 14's depending what you want to do...... your better off going...
