If you have read any of my previous posts you knew I was doing a LS swap into a 93 civic SI the swap is running fine everything is good except for the check engine light which is the 02 sensor and its running rich. I took it to a shop when I got done to see what I needed to make it run better...

I know that the motor doesnt have vtec so yes it is unplugged which would probably put the motor into a sleep mode I would imagine. But my only question is was there someone around it so I could use my harness and ECU which is answered thanks guy :)

also of course vtec isnt plugged in and im a tec at a shop and have all the comps to do all the diagnosis with but I knew this was probably not going to work but just to save some money I tried it.. Is there anyway to by pass the vtec or anything b/c I think it is in limp mode and is retarding...

I recently swapped at b18b1 into my 93 honda civic hb si and was told I could use the wiring harness I had and the ECU. The car starts and everything but runs like shit cuts out wont go above 4 rpm most of the time and when driven it sometimes just quits running all together. any help with me...

i dont have an automatic ECU im getting a manual one

ther injector plugs on the d16 do not plug in I have to cut the plugs off the half of the LS harness that came with the motor and soder them on to the d16 right?

I have a 1996 b18b1 motor I need a complete engine harness UNCUT and an ECU Also a DIS and linkages . I pulled out the d16z6 out of it so its for sale or will part it out on stuff you need ex: tranny dis... etc email me at jgallagher7@comcast.net thanks

I dont think it should matter but just to get some reassurance I had posted b 4 and asked what else was needed for a b18b1 swap. I found out today that the motor was once automatic. Will a pilot bearing still fit into the it?? or what is needed???

Also this maybe a repeated question in a different form but what off my d16 will bolt to the LS ??

Are you pretty positive the harness on my honda now will work with the LS motor ??? Im gonna take the motor out of my honda tonight after work. Also will the flywheel and clutch off my motor work on the LS???

Also if I get a 96 harness and ecu why would I have to modify the wiring?

They gave me the complete engine with the harness on it but cut. the tranny with just a throw out bearing left. other than that its just a complete motor I was going to go down to the junkyard today and buy an ecu and complete harness from a 94+ integra I bought axless already..
