take any other obd1 dizzy and use a hacksaw and cut off one of the arms. its ghetto, but it works. :D

the gsr harness will work fine on your c5, the missing things that the c5 harness carries(such as crank sensor) are not needed for your ob1 car. keep your gsr hareness and sell the obd2 harness. just keep your alt, dizzy and injectors ( or change the plugs)

hello, :roll: does any 1 have have any idea as to how much a 1/4 inch thick head gasket would lower the CR on a stockD16Z6. i got the gasket from a friend and i have no specs on it. i do know the CR is 9.2 and the gasket is about 1/4" thick. thanks for any help you can provide. :roll:

hey guys, i bought a hks type 1 t timer today. and the damn instructions are in japanese. i figured out all the wires (after like an hr and a half) but im curious as to how all the functions work. if anyone has the instructions or knows were i can find em, i would really appreciate it.

the first gsr was in 92, but i dont think the b17s (1rst gen gsr) had it. i think its 94 or 95 and up on the b18's but dont quote me on that.

you can get a obd 0 b16 computer or you can get a vtec/ afc controller or you can use a msd switch these are the ones i know, but there may be more options out there

sunds like a loose ground, the satrter is clicking beacuse the battery is weak or you have a bad ground on the engine.

i did a swap like this 6 months ago it shoild start right up, everthing is the the same exept for the 2 vtec wires (which would not stop the car from starting) does it sound like it wants to start? or is it just turning over dead??

hey guys, i picked up my 99 GSR motor (going into a 94 dx). i was inspecting the motor when i noticed this funny looking canister that sits under the intake manifold. it has a couple vacuum lines running to it. one runs to that funny thing on the side of the manifold. what the hell is all that...
