When i said it was all good i ment the linkage wasn't hitting anything or binding up. I did notice the bushing on the linkage had alot of play in it and the other bushing bushing by the shifter looked worn so that's what made me wonder if it could be something like that.

Could it be because the shifter and linkage bushings are worn out.wouldn't that cause it to not go into 4th gear.

Checked everything out still not going into 4th gear

Ok cool ill try that today at the shop

the car goes into every gear fine other then 4th gear.and it acts like three linkage won't pull back far enough to be able to go into 4th gear.

Also the car won't go into gear running

Also could the 4th gear issue have something to do with my shifter port linkage because it won't even let t try to put it in 4th it doesn't grind our seem like the linkage will let me pull it back enough to get it to go into gear

I don't know why my Phone was typing all crazy.yesterday i installed google crome on my phone and I'm using that now and my phone is typing fine lol.

It was going into 4th gear when the car was running and when the car was not running the first two days i owned it then it just quit going in all together. I know now that the car is missing the lower motor mounts on both sides and i think the bushings for the shifter are getting a little worn.

Ok Do YoU Know The Best Place To Get Those Mounts. Also What Cars In A junk Yard Can I Take Them Off Of. Also Any Ideas On The Shifting issue
