I did gsr swap in my 93 EG and wanted to know where the two wires on the iac hooks up to? I did a test on the red wire and got 0.29 volts and 12 volts from the yell/blk wire.according to the ecu pinout, one of the wires should go to the ECU in A9. Ijust wanted to know ifthe wire goes...

I dont know why i keep popping 30amp engine fuse. at least 2 a day since motor swap. I wonder if it has anything to do with that code 20 (electric load detector) that i getting?

I have a 94 GSR in my EG bubble back and i just wanted to know where the IAB was located? does anyone have a picture of what it looks like?

The codes are as such 14 (idle air control valve) and 20 (Electric load detector). I do have the Vtec hooked up to pin #4 on the ecu which is correct and the engine has enough oil so i assume the pressure should be good.

I have a p72 ecu. Would vtec not work because of the engine throwing codes 14 and 20?

I just added more grounds and still the same codes.

i checked harness wires and all seems to be right, so i dont know what else to check.

It's way easier to use the stock wire harness.

For some reason my motor wont hit vtec. I have all the extra wires ran for the Vtec solenoid, Vtec pressure switch, knock sensor and evap solenoid but still no vtec.

Got the motor swap done, but just found out why motor runs like crap cause its throwing a couple of codes. 20 (idle air control) and 14(electrical load detector). The first one i understand but the electrical load detector whats that?

I think that IAC solenoid is bad because when i on hook it the up and down idle stops. But the thing i noticed is when the car gets to normal idle withing 45 seconds i hear a sound below the intake plenum where that little black box is at the PCV valve sounds like when you suck something into...

So i got the motor in and wired up using the eg wire harness,i got a new shifter linkage then ran wires for the vtec solenoid,vtec pressure pump,evap solenoid and knock sensor. I then got an odbi destributor so now i can get it started but i think that the timing is a little off. The idleing is...

The Starter that was sold to me with the engine is a Denso 228000-2050. My friend works at denso, so i was wondering if anyone knows the numbers that come on the gsr starter?
