    B20 Building?

Well, as far as durability, you should be okay boosting 7-8 psi. 235whp is very healthy for street use. That should last you a good while as long as you keep up the maintenance on it. A sleeved block, say Golden Eagle or AEBS, should handle as much boost as you want out on the street. They claim...

I am using CTR cams and upgraded valvetrain to handle any Stage III or Toda C cams.

B20/b16 Hybrid "piston To Head Gap"?

Yes, I'm sure. I used the 94-97 VTEC Del Sol engine harness and the P30 ECU. I've built a few of these motors and reliability isn't a problem when you have the dowel pin holes redrilled correctly on the head. If you wanna be safe, just get the pistons. Stock LS/B20 rods can handle up to 9K RPM...

B20/b16 Hybrid "piston To Head Gap"?

Well, my GSR head is milled .030 in. It is my daiy driver and I have have no problems with it. The block is a 98 B20 with all stock internals. I am running CTR cams in it with a b16 tranny. Like I said, It's my daily driver. I travel all over Cali with it and actually, I just drove 2000 miles to...

    Which Block To Pick

I agree with Kyle! You are a nuts! j/k Why would you wanna rev that high in the first place? Built right, you'll get the Hp you need at about 8500-9000 RPMs anyway. And it won't really matter what block you are using if you're gonna build it from the ground up...A B16 head won't fit on B20a5...

    B16a1 Into A 88 Dx Crx

Any B-series motor will NOT bolt right in to a 88-91 CRX. You have to use fabricated motor mounts. In my opinion, Hasport offers the best motor mount kit. Everything lines up the propper way, including axles. Also, with the kit, your hood will clear your engine. As far as converting to PGM-FI...

    175hp@5200 205ft/lbs@4000

6k, huh? You didn't say if you wanted those numbers all-motor. I'm gonna assume that you do. Typically, from the builds I've done, those are pretty reachable Hp numbers...torque not as easy for an all-motor B series. However, you won't need that much anyway. Option 1 CrvTec- B20 block with...

    Jumpy Tach

It could be your coil wires. Sometimes when there is bad connections between them, the RPMs will fluctuate that way, only on the needles. Check for old or corroded wires or just bad connections in your wires.

    Ls/vtec, Cr-vtec In Cali

According to the smog people, having the external oil line from the block to the head makes it illegal anyway. I'm glad I'm going back to Texas soon.

    What's Stronger?

If your'e gonna build both, GSR hands down.

    B20 In A Crx?

The only difference between the LS and Crv block, like stated above is the size of the cylinder. LS=81 MM CRV=84MM That bigger displacement is what gives ya more torque. Swapping the crank wouldn't do anything for ya. I recommend you go and find a VTEC head and use that. Trust me, it's well...
