    Removing AWD system...help?

The entire thing, actually. I'll be replacing the entire drivetrain with a J32A2 V6 from an Acura TL/RL and a T56 transmission. So I'll have to build a lot of custom parts, including new rear axles, etc.

    Removing AWD system...help?

In a word, drifting. In two, drifting drifting. Ha. No, seriously, that's why. I'm going to make it able to drift. My MR2 will be getting the K.

    Removing AWD system...help?

Prepping for a V6 swap. The entire thing should simply pull out? I don't have to get anything for the hubs to cover the holes?

    Need help with a conversion

Thanks for the welcome! I don't think the Element is a tin can... A guy on the Element Owners Club forums flipped his Element and was still able to drive it to his house, a body shop, and the dealership. It still drove straight, too. The only real problem I'm having is that I'm thinking of...

    Need help with a conversion

I have a 2005 Honda Element. I'm going to start working on an engine swap in it to convert it from a K24 AWD to a J32A2 RWD drivetrain. The Element is a primarily FWD car, with the AWD turning on only to help when the front wheels slip, and so the front wheels have a transaxle helping to hold...
