i use my car for work. how long will it take to be rebuilt? its definitley not just the tierods. the rack makes crazy noise. not too much play in the wheel though and still steers perfectly.

I have a 91 crxdx that i drive real hard in nyc, my rack knocks and my mechanic says to get rid of my car cuz the rack costs more than the car is worth. Will my rack break or just make noise for ever. Its not power steering. btw the car runs amazing i run it to 5k rpms constatntly and it just...
