i would get B series hydraulic tranny you will need the clutch pedal and clutch components from a donor car need a distributer from a ls obd1 use your injectors from the sohc engine need to use the sohc engine wiring harness can use your ecu but i would get one for a obd1 ls engine I know...

check all your grounds make sure the one that goes from the valve cover to above the drive side head light is there make sure the ground on the engine harness near the thermostat is good and clean

use your factory sohc engine harness its all the same except for the vtec wires and knock sensor. do not use the jdm harness

what ecu are you using

check the ground on the sensor that has fixed my problem before. I had that same problem one time. It was just a loose wire
