I ahve a b16 in my 91 Crx hf and the alternator has gone bad. I was wondering which one replaces the one on there. I read that it is from a 90 teg, is this true, any help will be appreciated. Thanks

OK finally, for anyone who has to do a b16 swap into a 91 crx hf, when you put in the vtec 2nd o2 and knock sensor wiring, cut the b9 wire. The wire at B9 corresponds to a reverse light switch that was only present in hf's not in si's. Once you cut the B9 wire, verything should be alright. here...

yeah no problem man, yeah i really need to figure out what is goin on with the reverse light wiring, it is hard as hell to find anything on the net that tells me abut the hf swap.

Anyone know which wire on the ecu is the wire coming from the reverse lights i need to connect directly to the lights?

ok which wire is that on the ecu? if i disconnect that wire from the ecu, will it fix my problem? then all i have to do is directly wire the tranny to the reverse lights? thanks a lot man, i was hopin someone with an hf would help me out it is driving me crazy and any help is great thanks :worthy:

Ok i tried that but it didnt fix anything. the reverse lights still work too. on the instructions it says that i could tap into the first O2 sensor, so i think i might try doing that and reconnecting whatever was previously in position C8. what do you think?

do you think i should just remove that reverse lgith wire then? just to see if it has an effect? it wouldn't hurt i could just reinsert it if it causes another problem...

yeah teh knock sensor had and the vtec oil press wire as well as the O2 had wires in the place they had to go. SO i put the new wires where they belonged. But according to hasport, the si to b16 wiring swap, there is no wire at the O2 wire location. In ym hf tho, there was a wire there and i...

i am getting my friend to take some pics of the wires, but i definately think that my problem ahs to do wtih the O2 sensor wire or that reverse light wire

but did you have to replace a wire that was in the spot the 2nd O2 sensor had to go into??

yeah i just finished rechecking those, they are put in the right place adn they are both in right. I kinda wonder if the reverse light wire may be causing my problem, because it only does that in reverse.
