no sir. not sure at all. we know it worked before on the original block it was on. but since we put it on my block and it ran for awhile with that oil restrictor jet in it, do u think that may have damages it by chance? how can i check it?

i swapped a d16z6 VTEC head onto my d15 block and the valves click. I know they need to be adjusted. maybe tightened. can anyone tell me a clearance i should use to make them quiet? whats the factory clearance and is there another clearance that would be better? any help would be nice. thanks.

I have a 1993 Honda Civic VX Model. It has a 5 wire o2 sensor. Auto Zone charges $500 for that one sensor. Thats crazy. Besides buying another one is there any other way to convert to a 4 wire or other? Besides changing the wiring harness and computer I mean.

By VTEC Controller I mean an adjustable VTEC Controller which allows the driver to adjust the rpm at which the VTEC kicks in. I did do the swap myself. Im just not aware of how the VTEC actually works. I didnt realize there was an oil restrictor jet. But I believe I know what your talking about...

oh and the computer that was put in is the computer off the civic which had the d16z6 engine. so it is a vtec computer.

its a d15b7 block and a d16z6 head. theres a VTEC controller because the cars original engine was a VTEC engine. When the VTEC Head was put on the d15b7 block there was a little silver piece in the block on the intake manifold side about centered. is that the oil restricter piece your talking about?
