i have a 92 vx hatch (manual) and the gearing in it is about the same as my old 96 cx auto. it seems to me like my gears especially second and third are really long. i shift out of second at around 68mph. should i swap the tranny? if so wat tranny would you recommend?

im just bought a 92 vx and i was wondering if it was even worth working on the stock d15z1 or ditch it for possibly a z6. i have heard some good things about the d15z1 but finding parts to fit it is seeming to be a little complicated. and one final question, will intakes, headers, bolt-on turbo...
