here is what you should do man, get an EG radiator (you know the half one) and it might just fit since you replaced the crossmember with that traction bar if it still doesnt fit this is what i had to do, you cant see it when the hood is closed so i said screw it, it works perfect

i dont know about that, they make plastic boxes to seal it off, and you will want to use a battery that you cant open and refill.. but im not sure

not if you use the Z6 manifold its alot more than 8 hp... but yes changing the tranny will help alot and the 12:1 compression will raise it really high

yea the dizzy plug needs to be changed, just depin the wires from the teg one and pin the square ones in the round teg one... make sure you put the wires like they were on the teg though not the DPFI one.. this one is a little better than the hondaswap one MPFI Swap

I have to say....(though i didnt use this diagram) that the DPFI to MPFI swap is one of the best power upgrades you can do. I used a Z6 intake and A6 dizzy with a PM6 ECU, the power difference is like adding a small turbo that spools instantly, I noticed great power differences in the swap...

if your looking for power without a turbo, then go for the mpfi swap, its a little difficult but once you do it, you will be really happy.. Then if you want more you could put the ZC dome pistons in it and a Y8 headgasket with the middle layer removed it will put you close to 12:1 compression...

nice thread... im really glad im not the only one that went through hell to change the DPFI to MPFI, i havent tackled a B16 swap yet.. (im going to boost the D-series) but you did good man congrats and hope your busy driving and cant post right now lol

yeah the american one... though they should be the same.. you could move your battery to the trunk and run any intake

they should tell you the problems when you run it at the emissions place... do you have any check engine lights??

ok first of all im new here... My question is if i am going to put a B16A in my 89 do i need to do the dpfi-mpfi ffirst or will it not be neccasary because i am going to get an ECU and wiring and everything? Any help will be appreciated
