Ok, ahhvtec, why do I need a jumper then? If I am using all the components from my old engine, it should be the same connections... Other than some "tach test" that won't be connected to my ecu anyways... What exactly am I jumping? I'd appreciate more information than just "you need a jumper."...
I'm getting a 00 b18b obd2b to put into my 97 b18b obd2a integra... I've been told it's a direct swap, using the new motor harness and keeping my wiring harness/obd2a ecu. Any more information? I don't want to go into this and have to spend alot more money than planned. Any info is appreciated.
Ok that's what I was hoping to hear... If I were to put in a 94-95 obd1 into my car, same setup as above, what would be needed?
I'm asking because I have two options for an engine to buy tommorrow:
An obd1 with 78,000 miles or
An obd2b with 81,000 miles
I am in the process of getting a 00 LS obd2b engine to put into my obd2a 97 integra... The ecu is the stock ecu, so an obd2a... I still have all the parts off my obd2a engine, what do I need to do to get it running properly? This project is starting tommorrow, so any advice is appreciated.
