    wow i really appreciate that, a site totally dedicated to my year model! it helps alot! BTW, im thinking its not the choke, why would i need it to choke once at full operating temp? Got to be not getting enough gas or something.

    thanks, I read that would probably fix the problem elsewhere too, but didnt want to shell out that kinda cash for this. You wouldnt happen to know where I could find any carb diagrams would you? I was hoping to find some pictures of the choke.

    I just reread part of your post, if you are interested in recharge kits you might try a synthetic one, its kinda pricey but its colder. If your a/c works at highway speeds the clutch should be fine. Its probably still low on freon, thats why it wont kick on at low speed or stops.

    Yeah you probably have an insufficiency, you could drain the old freon dissconnect the lines, replace the orifice, vacumn it down to -32 pounds and fill it will the recommended amount of freon for your car.     easy you need to consider battery voltage, and the alternator. those are the most common problems. Otherwise you could be looking at something like a cracked head or blown head gasket. Oh yeah, dont forget the fuel pump.
