yea it sounds like the clutch cause when the rpm jumps the engine does sound to rev up too so i think its the clutch....

drain plug is secure... the guy i bought the swap from prob opened it... and I did the head gasket....but it seems to be fine ...I advance the timing bout 2 degrees

ok I got most the vtec wiring done. have the vtec oil pressure wires hooked up ,the vtec solenoid,and the knock sensor....but where the heck do I wire the evap...wut the hell is evap....I know that I need a 12v wire and one runnin to a20 but wire is this evap?????sorry if this sounds like a n00b...

my tranny is leaking,i'm sure its not from the motor,so where could it b comin from???? another question is when i changed my headgasket it seemed like i lost some power seems to b laggin a little now...btw my engine is b16...no mods

d series head dont need to take out cam... but u do need to take the im off

it doesnt benefit anything...but if I needed one (lets say my b16 solenoid doesnt work) I would have a wider selection of engines to look 4 one :P

do I need to take off cams to get to the head bolts????havent done any b series engine yet and the manuals say that u do ...but I have done the sohcs and u dont need to take the cam out ....any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

would not having a throttle body gasket cause the engine to overheat????cause my car would start to overheat after 2 hrs of driving...

ok found out the prob it was my ecu....

ok I just did a swap...got it started idles fine 800-900..then it dies on me...I checked and distributor was not tightened up(thanks to a buddy who put it on :angry: )...so I changed the ign coil inside ...started rite up then I turned off car to hook up timing gun and it wont start up...put...

I need the b16a3 distributor to get me car runnin again if u guys have one hit me up with the price..Thanks
