    My new toy

 That's what I was figuring.. especially when there an F4i and nearly new Ninja that both park here too. Hopefully any thieves will go after their stuff before mine! I have a shielded cable lock and my car blocking it in right now, and probably will buy a disc lock too soon since the...

    Axle nut!!!!

There are some impact guns that will get just about anything off, but most of them don't have enough torque to do it if they are really stuck. But they cost a lot of money and you need a big air compressor tank to run them. Get something that can do 800+ ft. lbs torque in reverse and they zip...

    Cooling down my H22 Accord.

The one I did was an OBD1 JDM H22a into a 91 Accord DX. Used all Accord wiring harness and added the extra wires (VTEC, IAB, knock etc.) to the stock ECU plugs and ran a stock JDM p13. No CEL and everything was working properly on that job. Not sure about chipping the p13 he never wanted to...

Best product for buffing scratches off of a gauge cluster?

The PlastX I use does have a very similar consistency to toothpaste.. that's interesting. It probably would work pretty well too since they're both very mild abrasives.

97 LS with wheel hub issues

The bearings are pressed out from the back side, and back into the spindle from the front. Once you remove the knuckle from the control arms it should be relatively obvious as to how it comes apart. If you don't have access to a hydraulic press and the proper tools I would highly recommend...

    94 Civic Hood Wont Open

Yeah sounds like you're going to have to pull either the bumper or grill, or both, and manually move the latch to pop the hood open. I've had to fix a couple cars like that where the hood latch cable wasn't working, and I pulled out the grill to access the latch assy. and popped it open manually.

91 Honda Civic Propane conversion $?

It also reduces tail pipe emissions by a pretty significant amount which helps the environment. I just watched a show recently (can't remember the name) where they built basically a one-off custom Camaro that was running I believe a big block 440 that was converted to run on propane. It made...

    My new toy

I totally agree.. this bike does seem to attract a lot of attention when I've been out on it too. I just hope that it doesn't attract the wrong kind of attention since I don't have a garage to park it in

    jerking/tugging steering wheel- axle?

If it's jerking the steering wheel I would have to think something is binding up or a suspension component is worn out. Most likely the direction it is pulling the wheel to is the side that's causing the problem as well. When you check out the front end also try spinning the wheels and make...

OBD2 code 41 most probable cause?

Yeah you got it.. and when that element burns out you will have no continuity between the two heater wires. That's basically all the ECU is looking for when it throws the code.

    dash light blown fuse

Either your illumination wire is shorted somewhere or it's hooked up wrong to the head unit. Try unplugging the head unit and see if the fuse still blows. If it doesn't then the problem most likely is in your wiring, and if it does blow still you most likely have a shorted wire somewhere in...

    stereo help...

If you don't have another head unit to test the speakers with take a 9v battery and connect the wires leading from the speaker to the battery. The speaker should make a pop noise and the cone should move when you apply power. If nothing happens either your wiring or speaker is bad. If it does...

    My new toy

I took it home for $1200, and it just had the carbs rebuilt last month by the Honda dealership. I've only been able to put about 40 miles on it so far (it's been raining non stop for almost a week), but I already absolutely love it. I have no plans to sell it ever.. definitely a rare bike and...

    Alignment for less understeer-Integra

Increasing the size of the rear sway bar and/or raising the rear spring rate will both reduce the amount of understeer. I never had much luck attempting to manipulate toe settings to help that problem without causing another problem as a side effect. A slight toe out in the rear might help a...

    Brakes not responding....

What exactly is the problem? Is the pedal soft, hard, sinking to the floor? Not activating the brakes is a little too vague to determine anything.

    Axle nut!!!!

You should be able to take the studs out without removing the axle nut if you rotate the flange to the right position. If not, soak it in penetrating oil for at least a few hours and use a large breaker bar with a pipe 2-3 feet long over the end as an extension. You can generate way more...

    injuector pulse question

The letters are the plug and location of the pinouts on the ECU.. such as connector B position 10, connector C position 1, etc. They are most likely going to be in different locations with OBD1, but you'll have to get the ECU pinouts (available on this site) and check to see if all the wires...

Best product for buffing scratches off of a gauge cluster?

PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish G12310 Product Information The stuff works wonders on clear plastic headlight assemblies, and I would assume it would do the same to a gauge cluster cover. I've been using it for years..

OBD2 code 41 most probable cause?

The heater circuit code is almost always caused by a failed O2 sensor. The newer 4 wire sensors have an internal heater element that enables them to reach operating temperature faster than the older 1 or 2 wire sensors without the heater that rely on exhaust gas to heat them. It's actually a...
