yup it does thats why i had to get a shifter assembly that works with cables instead of linkages. m wondering if the H22 to civic conversion requires installation of the prelude shifter assembly or is their an easier way? thanks again
yup that can be done. h22 and h23 uses the same mounts. i got an h22 in my 96 civic. problems had to deal with for the swap: engine mounts, shift linkage and shifter assembly, drive shafts. but it will fit and kick everyone's ass!
dude i think the VTEC head of the H22 fits the H23! i wanted to do that. that would be the bomb! 2.3 VTEC power!!! all you need is a VTEC h22 head and comp box! then build from there! more HP to everyone!
hi! um what shifter assembly can i use for my H22 civic. i tried using the original one that came with the motor and for some reason the 1st 3rd and 5th gears wer goin down and the 2nd 4th and rev wer going up. really weird. Now i used a different assembly and it worked ok for a few months but...
