thanks for the reply, but the B16A2 (SI) from 96 to 00 doesnt have that screw in that place... either way, i found how to do that. :) to bleed the coolant system just put water, take the radiator cap off, start the car and wait for the fan to come on, then turn the car off... let it cool down...

another question for you guys, my car below 3k is having problems reving, when i put any gear... i have read here that might be air in the coolant lines... how do i get the air out, since the block doesnt have the screw to bleed the air?? the engine is a B16A2 99-00

i think the best way is to use a OBD2A harness in you OBD1 Engine, i think this is doable... and if you want to go all the way, then yes, get a conversion harness, get yourself a P30 and tweak it... any of you guys got a better idea???

i thought i could wire it directly to the cluster... in the firewall, near the brake booster, (factory test lead) cant i do a direct connect to my cluster) sorry to be such a pain in the ass for you guys, but very noob in this, and noobless in engine swap, since this was my first :)

i found a blue wire, tha comes from the engine harness, but it doesnt go anywhere... its located on the drivers side, next to the plug that goes inside the car... could be this one?? can i run a wire from the dristribuitor directly to the tach or does it need to go trough the ECU???

finally got the car working... :) the only thing that didnt work was the RPM gauge, does anybody now possible causes for this????

dont know much about this, but wiil try to help any way as possible... Is the D16Z6 harness a OBD1?? the B16 harness is what OBD2A ou OBD2B or OBD1 also?? also im not sure, but i think some wiring will not be connected, but i ask the experts, a little help out here...

finally got all in place, found a 96-98 engine wiring, and will try to start the car now... a question, the mechanic measured the engine compression, and in 2 cylinders it came out 12 Bar, and in the other 2 it only gave 10 Bar... The question is, is it normal that diference in compression...

The price here in Portugal for 1 liter Unleaded 95 is 1,40€ ($2,14), beeing 1 gallon equals 3.7 liters... we in Portugal are screwed :(

thanks for your help... the engine harness i am using is already from a VTEC engine, lets see if i can make it run like this, any further questions i will post them here.

my problem is that the 99-00 plug (i think its the A plug) that goes to the ECU that is located inside the car, went with the car body to the junkyard, and i am forced to use my ODB2A engine harness (D15Z6) in my ODB2B engine (B16A2)... so fare i only noticed to wires that dont connect to...
