umm, i doubt it can be the knock sensor, my buddy of mines have ls vtec and he didnt hook up the knock sensor and it ran find...umm double check ur wirings yet?check ur dist. alternator etc,

dude buy a high mileage Ls, with the money you're planning to buy the gsr motor for, estimate about 3.5k-4k? with about 2-2.5k get new pistons and rods, 3-5 hun for the vtec head, and the rest for some cams if you have enough, its a waste of money just buying an Ls and swapping in a gsr or...

dude y waste money on buying hasport mounts,, last i heard u can use the D or B series mounts for the b18 swaps, no need to waste money on those kind of things.

if you're putting the Ls tranny on to the b16 then you are going to fall out of Vtec when shifting into the next gear. for instance you are racing someone...then shift to the next gear..you will fall out of vtec because the b16 tranny or any other vtec are made for vtec engagement..with the Ls...

get the car...its light and a very good trim level to start out with!

i was wondering, if all the specs on this board are true, about the Tq and stuff be cause on other sites, it shows different specs, Ie: this site. it shows that Integra Ls has 127 Tq, and gsr has 128 Tq, but on the other site like this...

if you experience doing an engine swap this swap isnt all that difficult, you do need to cut two holes i believe for your shift linkage and the one i forgot, i would look it up to see wat the other one is for, but ne way it is not that difficult.

i dont get why you would swap out our b16 for the b18c, yes it has more TQ and HP but wit the money you are spenting for the other motor, u can just buy a turbo kit and run 6psi on stock internals.
