no i havent messed with that i was told by a friend of mine that someone in the past who had the car could of set a rev limiter and id have to change it in the ecu, but my friends said that makes no sense but yea thats a good idea.

Its not throwing any codes at all and we just changed the oil, oil filter, put all new plugs, an intake, and a breather on it. and it still stops at 5500. and at the same time the vtec isnt working right or its not kicking in at the...

No it isnt throwing any codes at all and thats what we thought it was so we changed the oil and put on a new oil filter.
