heres another option for you. go out and get a B16 head, B16 ECU, run the wires for v-tec. then buy a turbo set up, which u can find for under 1000$. u can safely run 7, 8psi on a stock ls/vtec.

just looked up... at www.hmotorsonline.com H23 long block is 900$ plus s/h... so u could just get that n be done with it.

ok. what u saw must have been F22 that comes in older preludes. (same as the one from an accord). i would too go for an H22A. it would be really hard to find it at a junk yard( at least here in PA it is.) your best bet would be to get it online or any engine places around. on of the online...

no error lights. .. i redid the whole harness. like on the single cam the crank positioning sensor is near the crank pulley, on H22 its coming out of the distributor plug... so the H22 runs as a single cam. vtec feels weird. lol but ima get it to work right soon. plus i dont drive the car much.

the whole swap from japan with very low mileage cost me 4500. yes i know its alot. but all OBD2 swaps are expensive as hell. plus this one is typeS and type SH trans. i did the swap myself, so didnt have to pay anything for that. well all the fluids n stuff. plus next i have 2 get my exhaust...

well. im waiting for a motor to come from japan. F23A1. i was planin on runnin about 18-20 lbs of boost. the only thing stock i will use is the crank, sleeves, valves and maybe a cam. im shooting for about 350 to the wheels. and yes i know i could make about 300 to the wheels on teh stock...

wuts up guys. im tryin to turbo my F23A1, already got the turbo kit,( t3/t4 )... The problem is i cant really find anyone that makes forged pistons and rods for F23. Found it on one site F22parts.com but the rods alone are almost 900$, and pistons about 700$... if anyone knows where i could get...

H22 is a good choice for the money u got. An OBD1 H22 swap not gonna cost u more than 2K with everything included. well depends ( u can find it as cheap as 1500, or up to 2500) and then get a mount kit, and axles. and ur good to go. by the way check out ebay, they sell H22 swaps with mount kits...

Try to pull off your IAC solenoid off and clean it out. or maybe replace it. Common problem on hondas. located on Intake manifold. dont know where exactly on b16's... either front or back of the intake manifold, usually bolted with 3 bolts. try n let me know if it worked.

if i get this right ur car is Auto?! ok to drop a manual in u have to get some other stuff other than the engine n trans. Get ECU, Wiring harness, Slave cylinder/master cylinder, install a clutch pedal, run shifter cables... shouldnt take that long to do it if ur friend knows wuts he doin.

oh btw. that 2.0 motor is most likely is a B20a5.... has about 135 hp, and around 120 tq. or sumtin like that. my couzin got one.
