    EG hatchback weight differences

    EG hatchback weight differences

so even if the cx and vx weigh the same, what makes the dx heavier? it still doesn't have any power options, it does have a rear window wiper and maybe some sound deadening? does that add up to 90lbs also the VX had 13" alloys and the CX had steel wheels.... does that make the CX lighter...

    EG hatchback weight differences

According to edmunds CX = 2094 VX/DX = 2179 SI = 2326 I understand why the SI weighs more (sunroof, brakes, etc.) I don't really understand why there is almost a 100lb weight difference between the CX and the VX/DX. the only real difference that I can think of is that the CX came with an...

new rubber for my 92 si

for a 15x6.5 wheel on a civic, you can get away with running a 205/50-15 you will probably have a little big of rubbing on the inside of the fender well depending on the offset of the wheel, but it shouldn't rub anywhere else with only a 1.5" drop (and it will only rub at full steering lock) I...

WTF? i need some help. quick.

why are you putting adjustable ball joints in? do you need more camber? I'd just leave the stock ball joints unless you are racing and using the adjustable ones to add negative camber. I've never used the adj. ball joints, but a couple friends have and they never worked quite right/broke...

it's deffinately your alignment. I just did similar work on my car and I thought I had it 'eyeballed' pretty close and when I was driving it over to "Jeff The Alignment Guy" I just about crapped my pants... as soon as he was done with it, I couldn't believe that I had actually done my work...

    SS brake lines questions?

yep. SS lines have enough problems if they aren't swapped out often enough. building your own would be dangerous to you and everyone else on the road in front of you make sure your e-brake actually works

    Suspension Suggestions for Del Sol

I've been running Eibach pro-kits on Tokico Illuminas for the last 4 years and love the setup on my EG sedan. It is about 1.5" lower than stock, I have minor issues with speed bumps and parking ramp expansion joints but it is still a comfortable ride. The f23 is a good engine because it has a...

How many people actually have camber kits

Citizen is totally correct. My car is lowered on eibach pro-kits, somewhere between 1.5" and 2" lower than stock and I recently added a set of the skunk2 upper control arms and got my car aligned to that I have -3.2 degrees of negative camber on the front wheels. Lowering or adjusting camber...
