Ended up buying a 69 c10 and everything to LS swap it. I just don’t have the time anymore to really work on anything. I’ll get around to it eventually.
Its auto, wasn't really picky about it being a manual. I just needed something bigger. I buy and sell a lot of parts, cramming them in the back of my hatch got old pretty quick.
I need to quit buying things.
Ran and drove when i picked it up, rough, but it ran. Had 355k miles on it. Picked it up for 600.
Bought a used JDM b20 and trans from a somewhat local importer for 750
Swapped everything out and now I have a low mileage crv for $1350
Now my border collie won't...
FINALLY got everything in that I ordered. I haven't forgot about this car, even though it seems I have. I really want to get this car finished this year. Need to buy a house soon.
Picked up some new wheels also for my daily.
the daily beater. Which within the next few weeks will be 5 lug with...
How it sits now. Still not painted. Added OEM ctr spoiler and OEM ctr door panels and putting the rest of the black interior in this week.
Also new brakes! Brembo blanks hps pads.
I'd say close to 2100, including the price of the car. I had all the ac stuff. Only paid 160 for the hood, trans was 600 and the ecu was 200 and little minor things like tierod ends and bushings.
It has surface rust in the quarters, thats getting fixed next week.
I'll have to pull them apart and check them out. I got another p28 and an obx twin loop, heard some good reviews about it and it seemed quiet. It was cheap so if I don't like it I'm not out much. Any suggestions on a resonator? I want as quiet as possible
Just got done soldering the stock ek harness back together. Thats going in tomorrow, just waiting on my jumper harness. Had the chasebays harness laying around and just decided to use it. More than likely this will fix my problem, seeing how I've checked every thing I know to check about 100 times
