does it say on the ecu anywhere just before i pull it out for no reason

had a look through the tech stuff but still not sure what ecu is in my eg civic esi.has a d16z6 engine.think it might be the p28 obd1 but not sure because the tech section says the vtec comes in at 4500 on the p28 but mine comes in at 5000:confused:. thanks
