would it make more sense that my sensor is bad or that the computer is bad if there is no signal?? Is there anyway to check if its my computer?

I called honda back today and they told me I needed a new computer. They said the signal wasn't being sent to the sensor. so i'm looking into buying a chipped p28 now. thanks
