    Was just wondering what other ppl thougt, if i do get to do the swap i know im going b20 prolly b20b just cause they're easier to find, b16/18 tranny, vtec, turbo. but i think the selling point for me is the tq to start with. owell right now the entire thing is in limo cause of bills.

    D15b 18 MPG-- What could do this?

    holy crap i have a D16Y5 non-vtec i can beat the crap out of it and still get 29-30 my best guess just take it to an auto shop and have to hook it up to thier computers they should be able to find something if your only hitting 18 that or someone is stealing your gas at night.

    97 Civic HX

    i have a 97 hx as well, if you throw a bomz short ram and a manual trans (if you want one in your DD) you can have a car that'll get 36/40 mpg and you wont have a bad time 0-60 but the D16 it has isn't really the best engine you can have but as a DD its a good one

    see thats the thing I'm (at this point in time) planning on this being my project car for the long term having the car for at least 10 yrs and just keep building little by little, but if the b20 is going to benefit me that much after sleeves and higher boost then i guess that answers my question.

    lol.. you and me both, they are fairly hard to find. 1) because they are Honda and Honda = gold to the general public because of gas 2) not a lot of ppl beat on them so the original 97s still run great JDM has one for 875 engine only but if you happen to find 2 in Tennessee let me know.
