They are full coilovers. I've put about 2000 miles on them now. I drive a lot. They came assembled. I had to adjust the preload and ride height. That was it. They aren't ruined yet. Which is pretty cool.
The coilovers still work great. I've hit some pot holes. I've taken some pretty aggressive corners. They're pretty nice. They're at full stiffness right now. I think I caught some air on 285 yesterday. I like coilovers. They're great
I see, I see.... So I took off the wheels and checked my spring rates just like I did when I installed them. The spring rates are correct. The vehicle rides just fine. Springs are 7kg front 6kg rear. Weird.
Now all I need is a motor. I think I may have a cracked ring do to heavy rain and...
If I could upload the damn pics of the coilovers you would be able to tell the difference just by looking at them. The front coilovers have a brake line mount which the rears do not. I had tokigo hps with neuspeed race springs on it when I put the coilovers on.
Previous owner decided to chop...
they ride wonderfully so far. Great for a daily driver. I had to pre load the springs. Adjusting them was interesting. The rear two I had to adjust all the way up and the car is still super low. The front two had to be brought down almost all the way to level out the car. They're hand...
They came shipped in a box weihing about 70 pounds seperately bagged and bubble wrapped. The cardboard box was tripple wall. Tough stuff :). I took pics. I can't upload them to this thread for some reason. I installed them yesterday. Unfortunately my camera isn't working. Very frustrating:(
I looked on amazon.com for spring/shock set ups. They usually have shocks matched with springs in relation to ride height and stiffness. I ordered some godspeed 16 way adjustable coil overs which are coming to me in a couple of weeks. $650
I ordered the godspeed rs coil overs. They ship in a couple of days. I got them for 650 shipped. Hopefully they don't explode or something awesome like that. They have decent reviews for the kind of money I'm spending.
I think you are right. I posted a suspension thread in the suspension forum about godspeed rs adjustable coilovers. I'm thinking about purchasing and installing them. I ust don't know how good of a product they are. For a dd I don't think they'd be too shabby. Bringing the car up sounds like it...
Not to confuse. I'm robDa9. I haven't been able to log into my account. So anyways. The rims aren't bent. I had some nice aluminum konigs on it. Now I have steelies. As they are cheaper to put tires on with the front end issues.
I like to take a look at myself when break up's happen. I like to realize that I am not God's unique gift to the world. That I am just like every other swinging dick.
Which is perfectly okay.
I also like to acknowledge the fact that females are pigs just like I am. Instead of being...
I used to ride the continental road attacks on my 600rr. I had battleaxes on the Repsol.
I took my bike to a speed shop to get the work done on it. I got hooked up with that place they gave me a great deal. I researched the tire prices on the internet first and used them as a bargaining...
