If it is the piston ring would it smoke all the time?

I have an ls/vtec turbo, when I first start it in the morning it dosen't smoke. But after 2 or 3 minutes after idle it starts to smoke, the smoke is like blue with black. Could it be the pistons rings?

Yes I have forged pistons and the arp rod bolts and upgraded fuel system. I also have port & polished head and intake manifold.

Well I guess, il be going with the garrett t3/t04e .63 a/r 50 trim any last opinions from anyone?:rolleyes:

So at what rpm would the garrett t3/60-1 be full boost by.Also what a/r housing would be good cause i have a 5 bolt down pipe.

My budget is around $500 and $800 also im only planning to run around 7-8 psi and tuning.

Ok first of all i have an ls/vtec.I have all the stuff neccesery to put on a turbo. What i want to know is which turbo would be good, I plan on pushing 300- 350 whp. Also want to be at full boost by 3500 to 4000.So i was looking at garrett t3/t04e and was wondering if that would be a good turbo...
