i gotta 2000 civic si w/b16a2 and an S4C trans............any way, im looking for a trans rebuild kit and the few that i found are like 6-700 bucks..... anyone know of a cheaper rebuild kit? or someone around Michigan that rebuilds transmissions for a good price?

2000 civic si w/b16 i've lost vtec!!!! i had my buddy hook up his diagnostic tool....and it threw a code for vtec. i was wondering if anyone knew if there was a "typical" failure on vtec solenoid? if its a valve thing or the solenoid....how can you test it to make sure its truly bad? also...
